Since day one, PHINƠI has been known for its clean, modern plastic Phins — durable, functional, and beloved in kitchens and cafes alike. But we’ve always wanted to go further. We wanted to honor the roots of Vietnamese Phin brewing while creating something that still fits beautifully into modern life. We tried many materials. But the moment we held ceramic in our hands, everything just… clicked.

Bát Tràng village is a living archive of Vietnamese craftsmanship. Each bowl, cup, and glaze from this centuries-old pottery village carries stories shaped by time and the skilled hands of artisans. For us, crafting a Phin from Bát Tràng ceramic felt like the perfect meeting point of tradition and modernity. A timeless material, now holding a new form. If you’ve ever held a piece of Bát Tràng pottery, you’ll know that quiet warmth and grounded sturdiness we wanted to bring to this Phin.

And of course, there’s the Joyful Flower — the symbol of PHINƠI. A flower formed from the silhouette of a Phin, with a playful wink of a smile hidden in its shape. We brought this flower to life on ceramic in the most expressive way possible, by letting it bloom. The Blooming Ceramic Phin reimagines your coffee ritual as something vibrant, joyful, and deeply rooted in cultural beauty.

This limited edition is handcrafted by artisans in Bát Tràng. We spent months testing different shapes and finishes, trying dozens of ways to express the Joyful Flower in clay. Every dripper that leaves the kiln is the result of deep care, detail, and quiet perfection. We called it “Blooming” because we believe coffee is more than a drink it’s a moment that blossoms. Especially when brewed through a material steeped in centuries of Vietnamese artistry.
