Little Flower Tee: The First PHINƠI T-Shirt

We created this tee almost as if it was meant to be: the Joyful Flower is an icon we wanted to carry with us every day.

The Joyful Flower is a flower reimagined from the Vietnamese Phin coffee filter. It’s modern, marked by PHINƠI’s signature flower-shaped base, and at the same time, it carries a smile. Joy is what we’re all about: joy in brewing, joy in drinking, and simply joy when seeing a flower smiling back at you.

This Joyful Flower was the “winner” after countless internal rounds of design. It captures everything PHINƠI stands for. You might be wondering: “Why not just make the PHIN itself the logo? Isn’t that more obvious?” That’s what we thought too. We sketched dozens of Phin designs, but none of them felt right. Not until we saw the Joyful Flower.

There’s something free and refreshing about its minimal lines, with a bright, playful smile at the center. Only when you really look closer do you realize hidden in that flower is a Phin. And that layering of meaning is exactly what PHINƠI is about: bringing joy into coffee. PHINƠI isn’t just a brewing tool; it’s something you can experiment with, play with, and always end up with a cup that makes you smile.

The idea for the first PHINƠI tee came just as naturally: “Wouldn’t this look amazing on a t-shirt?” “Shouldn’t we have a shirt of our own?” A few simple questions, and the Little Flower Tee was born. Now the Joyful Flower is no longer just on your coffee dripper. It’s on something you can wear. We hope that every time you pick the Little Flower Tee, you carry a bit of that joy with you: whether it’s for work, a walk, a workout, a basketball game, or a weekend picnic.
