PHINƠI at the Grand Reopening of Burberry's Tràng Tiền Store

Burberry has just reopened its flagship store at Tràng Tiền Plaza, Hanoi. And at the launch of this beautifully reimagined space, PHINƠI had the honor of being there—together with refined., bringing the flavor of Vietnamese Phin coffee into the world of British fashion.

Right outside the store, Burberry set up a charming little coffee station on their iconic Sand Check Truck. That’s where refined. and PHINƠI served a curated specialty coffee menu designed just for this event—blending flavor, craftsmanship, and a distinctly Vietnamese brewing experience.

To match the elegant, classic aesthetic of Burberry, we chose the Phin Huyền—our all-black edition. With its understated, timeless look, it felt right at home in a setting built on heritage, refinement, and attention to detail. A traditional Phin, reimagined for a new kind of runway.

Throughout the event, the coffee corner stayed buzzing. Passersby were drawn in by curiosity—many seeing a Vietnamese Phin for the first time, placed so naturally within an international fashion environment. Familiar names from Vietnam’s fashion and creative scene—like Dương Tú Anh, SunHT, Mẫn Tiên, Hương Liên, and more—also stopped by to share the moment.

Seeing our Phin sitting on the Sand Check Truck, we couldn’t help but notice a kindred spirit in Burberry’s identity. Their logo features a horse rider carrying a flag that reads “Prorsum”—Latin for “forward.” That message echoed in our own mindset preparing for this pop-up: honoring what’s been, while boldly stepping into what’s next.

This collaboration marked the first time PHINƠI partnered with a global fashion house—and it’s a milestone we’ll remember. Not just for the visibility, but for what it represents: the idea that the Vietnamese Phin belongs in spaces where every detail is intentional. Among Burberry’s timeless British codes, our Phin felt anything but out of place. In fact, it added something new—a moment of quiet warmth and cultural crossover.


Because at the heart of both brands is a shared belief: heritage lives on only when it evolves.
