Coffee for the Family: PHINƠI Celebrates Vietnam Family Day

This June, to honor Vietnam Family Day, PHINƠI launched the campaign “Coffee for the Family” with a simple idea: coffee doesn’t have to be just an individual drink, it can be a bridge that connects generations at the same table.

Instead of simply talking about our product, we invited special pairs: grandparents, parents, and kids, to brew coffee for one another. In those familiar yet intimate moments, the Phin became more than a tool: it became a catalyst for new stories to unfold.

A Cup Across Generations

You’d think a grandfather would be the one teaching his granddaughter how to use a Phin. But this time, the roles reversed. She showed him how to brew a clean pour-over with PHINƠI. He was surprised: no bitterness, no heaviness, just clarity in the cup. That single brew sparked a conversation between two generations, one that might never have begun without this “new Phin.”

Love in Every Cup

For years, he’s had his daily cup of coffee, while she rarely drinks it at all. This time, we invited them both to try PHINƠI. Their tastes were different, his strong, hers lighter, but sometimes the joy isn’t in the perfect brew, it’s simply in making a cup for each other. That alone is flavor enough.

A First Taste of Decaf

And then came the youngest: a little boy finally able to join the family coffee ritual with his very first decaf latte. Full aroma, gentle sweetness, no caffeine. “Just like Grandpa’s, but I’m allowed to drink it!” he laughed, and the whole family laughed with him. Coffee became not just an adult’s ritual, but a shared memory, complete with the joy of a child’s first sip.

Vietnam Family Day is about spending time with the people who matter most. PHINƠI is proud to play a small role in these moments, when one simple Phin can become the spark that brings a family closer. So here’s our invitation: start a new memory with your family, one cup of coffee at a time.
