For the very first time, PHINƠI stepped into Vietnam’s biggest coffee trade show "CafeShow 2025" with excitement, curiosity, and a deep desire to connect with the coffee community. Over three vibrant days, we shared stories, poured coffee, and found ourselves right at home among thousands of coffee lovers, baristas, and curious first-timers.
Partnering with Vietnam’s First Professional Coffee Academy
This year, we had the honor of joining Bosgaurus Academy — the first professional coffee academy in Vietnam, run by champion baristas and trainers. Together, we created a shared booth that became a meeting point for knowledge, creativity, and community. Right at the center of it all was a special moment: Ms. Trần Hân (Vietnam National Barista Champion 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022; Runner-up Worlds Aromaster 2018) personally brewed Phin coffee for guests using PHINƠI.
“The Vietnamese Milk Coffee Universe” Competition
The liveliest part of the show? “Vũ Trụ Sữa Đá”, our signature milk-coffee competition, where participants experimented with different beans and milk types, all brewed with PHINƠI. It was wild, creative, and wonderfully chaotic.
But nothing could have prepared us for the most unforgettable moment: Martin Wolfl, World Brewers Cup Champion 2024, stopped by and joined a milk coffee session at our booth. After tasting, he shared:
“PHINƠI enhances the chocolatey and creamy notes. It produces a dense, rich base with a great mouthfeel... pairing with condensed milk can make an amazing cup.”
That sentence alone? A dream come true. A global champion, recognizing the power of the Phin — it proved to us that Vietnamese brewing is ready to shine on any international stage.
What we treasured most, though, were the conversations. Some guests tried the Phin for the very first time and smiled, “Hey, this Phin is actually easy to use.” Others brought their own beans, curious to see how they'd taste through PHINƠI. And some were just passing by, until they stayed, drawn in by the buzz, the coffee, the joy.
By the end of the show, we brought home more than empty coffee bags and photos. We brought home joy. The joy of seeing hundreds of people light up while trying PHINƠI. The pride of hearing baristas call it out as a serious brewing tool. And the growing belief that the Vietnamese Phin isn't just a memory of the past, it's a living part of coffee’s future. If you were there, you know exactly the kind of energy we’re talking about. And if not, we can’t wait to brew with you next time. See you at the next cup!
